Ambulance
Osage Ambulance District operates a fleet of 13 Superior Warrior Type III ambulances, manufactured by Osage Ambulances locally in Linn, Missouri. The Super Warrior Type III ambulance is the largest Type III ambulance available from Osage, and we operate on both the Ford E-450 and Chevrolet G-4500 chassis.
Quick Response Vehicle / Command
3 QRV’s are utilized to respond to high priority calls for service and to perform medical standby services when a full ambulance is not required. EMS Supervisors also serve as the scene commander for large incidents and respond with medical supplies and equipment to stabilize patients prior to an ambulance arrival when necessary.
EMS Utility Truck
A utility truck is utilized to pull ATV’s and UTV’s to medical standby events or scene calls when necessary. This vehicle is also utilized for extended operation situations and carries some minor rescue and life support equipment.
UTV
A medical utility vehicle is used primarily for special events such as the fair or other medical standbys. The UTV used by the district can carry a full stretcher and EMS crew along with a limited amount of medical supplies and equipment.
