Office of the EMS Chief

Joshua A. Krull, Chief

Chief Joshua Krull is responsible for the Osage Ambulance District as a whole, including leadership, management, administration, operations, and clinical ability. Chief Krull also has direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of Osage Ambulance District. Chief Krull has held virtually every position in his time at Osage Ambulance District, starting as a volunteer first responder in 2002, progressed to an EMT in 2004 and then achieving his paramedic license in 2006. Chief Krull served as the Education and First Responder Coordinator for many years and was responsible for establishing the districts training entity with the Bureau of EMS in 2008. After the training entity was established, he taught the district’s first EMT program served as an EMT and First Responder Instructor until ultimately assuming the role as Chief of Emergency Medical Services for Osage Ambulance District in May of 2012.

Chief Krull holds current licensure as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) by the International Board of Specialty Certifications and is a Certified Ambulance Service Manager (ASM-C). Chief Krull holds numerous other certifications in various areas of Emergency Services. Chief Krull still enjoys functioning as a field provider, instructor and assuming various command functions.
