Services We
Provide...
At Osage Ambulance District we take great
pride in our public image. We decided to do a customer survey to ask the
people we serve to grade us on the service we provide. Click here to review our
Customer Satisfaction Survey.

911 - Advanced Life Support
When you call 911 you will be sent an
ambulance. On this ambulance are trained professionals who will
assess your emergency condition and give you a recommendation about your
condition.
|
 |
Emergency Transfers
There are times when your condition may warrant the specialize
treatment only a hospital in St. Louis, Columbia or elsewhere can provide. In these
cases, after a medical screening by a doctor in one of the local
emergency rooms, you can be transferred to another hospital.
We have Paramedics and Registered Nurses
trained in Critical Care Transport. This is a special course on how
to transport patients who are critically injured or ill.
Families of patients should be more relaxed knowing their loved ones are
in capable hands.

Non-Emergent Transfers
|
There are some in the community who can not
travel in any manner besides an
ambulance. For these patients we have a non-emergent service
available. These transfers are handled after all 911 calls are
handled. This service is for
home to hospital, hospital to hospital, or hospital to home. To schedule a
non-emergency transfer, please call the business office at 573-897-0044.
If calling during non-business hours and you need an ambulance soon please
call Osage County Communications at 573-897-3107 and they will dispatch
us.
